A DAY IN EILAT
All praise to the Most High, I am alive, breathing.
I could finally sleep! A whole night non stop restorative sleep. HalleluYAH
After reading my bible, praying and praising, I check my messages on the phone.
My sister Rahel, right now in germany, called and reached Lufthansa! She booked a flight for me.
Tmrw is a evacuation flight to germany, and I am in!
I don't know if I should be happy or sad.
Zohar's family is waiting for me with breakfast. All delicious everything and what I truely enjoy is the Tahina, made by Zohar's dad, the Tahina master of the family.
Round noon we visit a friend of Zohar. Zohar is on the phone... some friends of her are loosing it, becoming crazy because of the situation. Yesterday I could get a glimpse of
the effects of the massacre that took place only some days ago.
We sing and eat fresh mango.
In the afternoon we go to another friend of Zohar, "they are Ultra orthodox, so better not mention Jesus" she explains. "His name is Yeshua..." I answered with understanding.
Noa, Zohar's friend, is superpregnant! I bless her child in the womb. She explains how magical the body of a woman is and how the pain is little by little preparing her
to give birth.
Two other women were there. Noa is hosting people from Ashdod, who needed to leave their destroyed homes. Also a child is here, playing cheerfully. She ran towards me and
hugged me, saying out loud "Shalom!". She kissed me on my shoulder as I wanted to hug her back. All people in the room are looking at me. A blessing, This was the sign,
"Yeshua is welcomed everywhere by the kids", I think to myself and smile.
The women talk english, so I can understand them.
One woman is concerned because her husband is in the army.
Noa explains the situation of the sweet kid and her mother... All horrible stories...
Noa also explains that she wants to do Challah: wonderful, tasty bread, that women do with prayer!
"First we light on candles, 12 candles. And we can invite ancestors from the bible."
Zohar looked at me intensly and whispered "Not Jesus!".
I had to laugh. 😄 "I know." I whispered back.
I invite Abraham, for his unshakable faith
David for his incredible devotion
And Ester, because she does YAH's will, no matter what.
We read special prayer while putting the ingredients together and while kneading the dough we pray freely.
The bread is formed like a braid, braided with 4 parts.
I love the warmth of this sisterhood! One of the women asked me, if I read the bible alone. She was amazed as I answered "Yes!"
Yes, yes, follower of Yeshua read the bible. The Tanakh aswell, yes.
God bless these women and the generations to come.
As soon as the bread is in the oven, Zohar and I leave Noa's place.
We go to a spontaneous gathering at the sea.
Women pray and sing together. We formed a big circle, hugging each other, singing and praying.
The Rabbi blew the Shofar! What a blessing.
We go home.
I am tired. Tmrw is a long day. YAH bless Eilat, this beautiful city and the people doing the ministry here!
Yehoshua maranatha! We need you
